The Story

Bring a Burst of Fall Color

Please note: For maximum health and longer-lasting blooms, these plants ship budded out but not blooming. Once they arrive to you, they should produce blooms quickly.

Mums are a long-time landscape favorite for good reason - these versatile, fall-blooming flowers add a welcome pop of color long after your other plants have faded! These round, cheerful blooms will last from early fall until the first frost.Ā Mums thrive in zones 3-6 as an Annual, and zones 7-11 as a Perennial.

We carry several varieties of Orange Belgian Mums: Arluno, Conaco, Peroni, and Mika. You will receive one variety when you order, but rest assuredĀ that each variety offers the vibrant color, dependable hardiness, and effortless beauty that make fall mums a seasonal favorite.

Mums are a true sign of the season changing - and they'll go perfectly with your fall decor, indoors or out. Plant a few in contrasting colors in pots around your patio, or add them to your front porch display of seasonal pumpkins and gourds. (An added bonus? You can plant them in the ground after they're done blooming, and enjoy them again next fall!)

You can't go wrong with these easygoing late-season bloomers!

Planting & Care

1. Planting:Ā Place your mums in a sunny area in your home or yard. While you can plant your mums in the ground to enjoy for multiple seasons, many people use them as a fall-blooming annual and keep them in pots around their porch, patio or entryway.

2. Watering: Water yourĀ mums once or twice a week, depending on how dry the soil is. You'll want to keep the soil consistently moist, but not overwatered.

3. Pruning:Ā To prolong your blooms, youĀ can deadhead often, as wilted blooms start to die off. Prune any wilting or dead blooms, as well as dead stems, to keep your mums looking good longer.
