The Story

Rose Tree with Brilliant Color and Irresistible Fragrance

Graceful, radiant, and unforgettable—just like its namesake. The Julie Andrews™ Patio Rose Tree dazzles with luminous fuchsia-pink blooms that open to reveal a glowing golden center. Each large, classic flower stands proudly on a long, elegant stem—ideal for cutting and bringing indoors—and is set against deep green foliage that makes the color truly pop.

Beyond its beauty, this rose captivates the senses with a remarkable fragrance—a sophisticated blend of sweet anise, tarragon, and classic rose. It’s no surprise this variety earned the title “Most Beautiful Rose of the Century” at the International New Rose Competition in Lyon, France.

Despite its award-winning pedigree, the Julie Andrews™ Patio Rose Tree is delightfully easy to grow. It thrives in warm conditions, resists common diseases, and rewards even modest care with months of spectacular color and scent. Whether planted in a garden bed or a large patio container, this rose adds a touch of Hollywood-worthy elegance to any space.

Bring timeless charm and show-stopping beauty to your home with the Julie Andrews™ Patio Rose Tree—an iconic bloom fit for center stage.

Planting & Care

1. Planting:  Choose a location with 6–8 hours of direct sun and rich, well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball. For container-grown plants, loosen the roots before planting. Position with the crown slightly above soil level, backfill, and water deeply. Mulch to retain moisture.

2. Watering:  Water regularly until established. Check for wilting in the morning as a sign to water. Once established, water deeply but less frequently to encourage strong root development. Container-grown roses need more frequent watering—always saturate thoroughly until water drains out the bottom.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring after the danger of frost. Use a rose-specific fertilizer and follow label instructions. Repeat light feedings through the season to support continuous blooming, but stop in late summer to allow new growth to harden before winter.

4. Pruning: Prune roses 3–4 weeks before your last frost date. Remove one-third to two-thirds of the plant to stimulate fresh growth and more flowers. Deadhead spent blooms regularly throughout the growing season to promote new flowers and maintain shape.
