Planting & Care

1. Planting:  Choose a spot in your yard with well-draining soil that receives full to partial sunlight. To plant your pummelo tree, dig a hole that’s twice as wide as its root ball and equally deep. Spread the roots around and then backfill the hole.

2. Watering:  Water the tree after planting and continue to water it once or twice a week, especially during periods of drought.

 

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize with a citrus fertilizer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

4. Pollination: Pummelo trees are self-fertile, but planting more than one tree together will yield a higher crop of fruit.
