Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select a location that gets full to partial shade and well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and place the plant 1-2" above soil level, then backfill the hole with soil. Water deeply to settle the soil, and then add more soil if needed. Add mulch 1-2" deep around the plant, avoiding the area closest to the stem.
2. Watering: Once established, this plant has average watering needs. It will only need to be watered when the soil is dry 1-2 inches down.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize once in spring.
4. Pruning: Cut back old foliage in early spring as needed.
