The Story

Three Delicious Apple Varieties on One Tree

Why grow just one variety of apples when you can have three?! The 3-in-1 Fruit SnacksĀ® Columnar Apple Tree produces three different crisp, flavorful apples - Tasty Red, Golden Treat, and Sweet Treat. And because there is a medley of different apples, this tree is self-pollinating.

Each of the 3-in-1 Fruit SnacksĀ® Columnar Apple Tree varieties offers its own colors and flavor. Tasty Red welcomes spring with lovely white flowers that give way to bright red apples. Golden Treat displays blush pink blooms, which are followed by golden yellow fruit. And Sweet Treat’s pink buds develop into dainty white blossoms before producing red apples tinged with green.

The fruit produced by 3-in-1 Fruit SnacksĀ® Columnar Apple Tree is the perfect combination of sweet and slightly tart.Ā The compact growth habit makes this tree perfect for planting in small spaces and containers, plus it is cold-hardy and disease resistant. Order yours today!

About Fruit SnacksĀ®: Fruit SnacksĀ® offers real fruit that's easy to enjoy. These compact, dwarf apple trees are perfect for small spaces, letting you pick fresh snacks right from your backyard. Plant two different trees, and the bees will do the rest. Ideal for pots or hedges, Fruit SnacksĀ® are scab-resistant, virus-free, and require no harsh chemicals.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Select an area that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Once you've selected a location, dig a hole that's twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Place your new tree, backfill the hole, and then mulch to preserve moisture. Finally, water to settle the roots.

For container planting, choose a pot with drainage holes that's about twice the width of your tree's shipped container. Use organic soil, place your tree, and backfill. Water to settle the roots after planting.

2. Watering: Water apple trees deeply and regularly, especially during dry spells, ensuring that the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and promote optimal growth.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer according to package instructions. Repeat the application in late spring or early summer to support healthy growth.

4. Pruning: Once your tree has become established and is starting to bear fruit, it will need some periodic, moderate pruning. Only prune the tree during times of dormancy, making sure to remove any vigorous, upright stems and weak, damaged, or dead branches.

5. Pollination: 3-in-1 Fruit SnacksĀ® Columnar Apple Combo trees are self-pollinating. However, to achieve higher yields of fruit, you may want to plant another variety nearby. Below are the most effective pollinators we have chosen for your area:
